Diana Perreira

Diana PerreiraDiana began her Pilates training in Colorado in 1998.  After moving to California she continued her studies and completed her teacher training in October of 2000.   Diana received her certification from Studio du Corps; the Pilates Center of Orange County, under the direction of Diane Diefnederfer.  On top of her certification from studio du corps, Diana has attended a number of additional workshops and conferences.  She has completed five Ron Fletcher Method Pilates workshops, Pregnancy and Pilates through Core Conditioning, Finis Jung dance and teacher training, as well as many other continuing education courses.  Before opening Pilates Ten Orange County, Diana taught mat and apparatus sessions at Studio du Corps, The Sports Club LA, Ballet Pacifica, and Inland Pacific Ballet.

Diana’s Passion for Pilates stems from her love for dance.  She has been dancing since the age of four and enjoyed a ten year career as a professional dancer here in southern California.  She attributes her successful and injury free dance career to her Pilates work and enjoys passing that passion on to all of her clients.  She works with men, women, dancers, post rehab patients, pre and post partum women, and people of all ages.  Diana is so happy to have opened Pilates Ten and looks forward to working one on one with each of her clients-to pass on the work and the lifestyle of the Pilates Method.

Alicia Elliott

Alicia began her Pilates training in Newport Beach, CA in 2009.  She completed her Beginner, intermediate and advanced Pilates mat work certification through Power Pilates in Irvine, CA in 2010.  She continued her studies and completed her comprehensive teacher training in August of 2011.   Alicia received her certification from Studio du Corps; the Pilates Center of Orange County, under the direction of Diane Diefnederfer.  In addition to her certification from studio du corps, Alicia has attended a number of additional workshops and continuing education courses.  Before joining Pilates Ten Orange County, Alicia taught mat work and apparatus sessions in Huntington Beach, CA at Physical RX and Pilates.  She completed her BA in Liberal Arts and health and wellness from Cal State Fullerton in 2011.  She has a passion for health and wellness and continues to take continuing education courses to stay abreast of new trends in Pilates as well as health and wellness.

Alicia’s Passion for Pilates stems from seeing how Pilates has helped rehabilitate both old and new injuries as well as strengthen and condition professional dancers and athletes.  She has been dancing since the age of four.   She danced for the Oakland Ballet in 1987 at an apprentice level for 6 years.   It was her love of Pilates that inspired her to write her senior Thesis research paper in 2011 on Rheumatoid Arthritis and the benefits of Pilates.  She spent her last two years in college from 2010 to 2012 researching the background of Joseph Pilates and what inspired his work as well as interviewed and met with several experts within the Pilates industry.  She has seen while working with clients that have suffered from RA that Pilates has helped them with decreasing pain, improving mental wellbeing as well as increasing range of motion and flexibility within the body.  She works with men, women, dancers, post rehab patients, and people of all ages.  Alicia looks forward to working one on one with each of her clients- to encourage each individual to discover a renewed sense of body awareness, invigorated mind and elevated spirit.

Jessica Arnold

Jessica began practicing Pilates for dance conditioning purposes at age 12 with Elizabeth Larkam at St. Francis Memorial Hospital's Dance Medicine Division in San Francisco. Jessica went on to dance at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet of Canada’s professional division program at age 14. Due to an ankle injury she was forced to take time off of dancing & underwent two ankle surgeries. In order to rehabilitate & recondition Jessica began taking Pilates with Alicia Head of UP Studio in Long Beach, CA. Her training with Alicia had profound effects on her body, and made it possible for her to return to doing what she loved. Jessica recently performed with Festival Ballet Theatre in The Nutcracker, Giselle, Alice in Wonderland & Serenade.

Inspired by the effect Pilates had on her own body, and how it helped her return to dancing Jessica decided to pursue a career teaching. Jessica is passionate about sharing how movement heals the body & loves helping others feel their best. She received her training from Long Beach Dance Conditioning (LBDC) and has attended training workshops with renowned Physical Therapist Lisa Howell. Jessica also teaches the dancers of Southland Ballet Academy & has been hired by The Joffrey Ballet to teach at their 2015 Summer Intensive.
