state of the art equipment designed to maximize your workout

The reformer is the most popular piece of Pilates equipment.  More than 100 exercises can be performed on this single piece of versatile equipment.  The reformer has a gliding platform called the carriage, that the client can sit, stand, kneel, or lie on.  Exercises are done by moving this carriage with your arms, legs and body in a controlled manner.  The springs supply tension, gently working the muscles.

Trap Table (Cadillac)
The trap table (also known as the cadillac) is one of the most versatile pieces of Pilates equipment.  It resembles a mini trapeze and is thought tote the “cadillac” of the apparatus.   It is an amazing piece perfect for effective stretching and a wide range of movements.

Wunda Chair
The chair makes a great addition to the reformer and the other equipment.  Many of the exercises are performed seated (as in a chair) while pressing down on the pedal, which is hooked to springs of different strengths.  Other exercises can be done on the floor, standing, and in plank positions.

Magic Circles, Bands, Balls, etc.
Many small props are used to enhance your workout. Thera-bands are used to stretch and strengthen.  Balls are used to work your deep core muscles and improve balance.  Magic Circles, originally designed by Joseph Pilates, are used for many pilates exercises and can be an added challenge while using the equipment.  All of these props are perfect additions to your pilates routine and can be used at home to supplement your routine.

A variety of equipment is used in each session. Some of the most common pieces of equipment are:
